“My ring won’t come off”

Windex (the glass cleaner) is the best lubricant to remove a stubborn ring.

If the ring still won’t come off, try the same thing around midday.

If the ring still doesn’t come off, and is tight on the finger, cutting off circulation, it will need to be cut off (the ring, not your finger). This is usually a quick and simple procedure. Most jewelry stores can do this – saving you an expensive trip to the emergency room.

Pregnant women should probably remove their rings during the last month of pregnancy. You can start to retain more water in you hands and feet at this time, and a ring can cut off circulation in a matter of hours causing a reasonable amount of pain to the affected fingers.
